Connolly Leather production and finishing processes are unique to the Company. Since 1878 the Connolly family have been innovating and refining how best to present this beautiful natural product, and to perfect it for a variety of applications.
The Connolly philosophy is to celebrate the origins and natural attributes of only the finest hides, sourced exclusively from northern Europe. These hides are from farms that adhere to the strictest EU animal husbandry standards and regulations, and are natural by-products of the beef and dairy industries.
Our longevity has enabled us to develop excellent relationships with the industry ecosystem - from the best automotive trimmers and restorers in the world to the most celebrated and discerning product and interior designers.
The Connolly family has always been interested in leather’s inherent natural qualities. We are not interested in artificial or mass-market techniques to standardise or make all leather hides look and feel the same. We see beauty in the individual characteristics of each and every hide and only choose those of exceptional quality. By celebrating and enhancing these qualities, Connolly customers can continue to enjoy leather that is full of character and genuinely special, as they have done for 140 years.
